I ordered the LEGO instructions from BrickGun. Their gun replicas look amazing. They are so realistic that they even got a guy arrested. Check out the news coverage (1, 2).

10th SoCal Code Camp

This weekend I attended the 10th SoCal Rock & Roll Code Camp. That means I have a perfect score: I attended every single SoCal Code Camp.

The 10th one was held at USC in Los Angeles. Overall I attended 4 in Fullerton, 4 in San Diego and 2 in Los Angeles. On top of attending every single one I also presented at 3. The topic of my presentations was programming LEGO Mindstorms robots.

I am looking forward to attending the 11th SoCal Code Camp in Fullerton on January 30th and 31st 2010. Check out their website for more details and to register. See you there.

bought additional NXTs

I couldn’t resist buying 3 LEGO Mindstorms NXT 2.0 sets. I now have a total of 12 NXTs: 7 original white ones, 2 black ones and 3 version 2.0 ones. If I could just get my 6 robots to be in sync. I am trying to make them line-dance.

Toys R Us sale

Right now Toys R Us is offering the "buy 2, get 1 free" on most LEGO sets.
Here is their main page.
